Mold Detection Dogs
Top Dog Inspection Services employs 2 of Illinois only Mold Detection Dogs. Their names are Ebony and Ivory.
Ebony is a 7 year old giant schnauzer with over 1000 hours of training from the Florida Canine Academy near Tampa, Florida. She has performed over 1200 mold inspections since she began her career. Her training helps aide our Council Certified Residential Microbial Inspectors (CRMI) in locating and confirming mold growth in the indoor environment.
Ivory is a 2 ½ years old standard schnauzer and she also attended and completed over 1000 hours of training at the Florida Canine Academy. Ivory is another asset in our inspection department because of her eagerness to work and her abilities to detect reservoirs of mold growth in the indoor environment.
Meet Maggie she is the Mold Detection Dog for Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky metropolitan area (aka Greater Cincinnati). This area includes counties located in the states of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Maggie will begin her training at the Florida Canine Academy in April 2011 to become our next mold detection dog. She should complete her training at the end of May and be available to begin providing mold detection dog services for our clients in the
Cincinnati, Ohio area by early summer of 2011.
